Senior by default
The engineer scoping the work is the engineer building it. No junior developers learning on your project, no handoffs between delivery and discovery.
Scope we can defend
We'd rather push back on an unclear requirement up front than discover it halfway through build. Change requests are fine; surprise change requests aren't.
Boring where it pays
Interesting engineering problems get interesting solutions. Most of the others - queues, jobs, auth, deploys - we reach for proven tools and move on.
